Hey guys! Today is a wonderfull day, time for the second guest blog on my website! I love reading about other people’s travel bucket lists, and I’m sure you do too! – Or at least I hope so haha -. I love getting to know, connecting with and supporting other travel bloggers and wonderful people. It’s so inspiring to read about what other people have already done in their lives! Makes me want to explore even more!

So if you’d like to write a guest blog about your travel bucket list, I’d love to get in touch! Please send me a message to: alovingladytravels.gmail.com if you’re interested. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now today’s guest blog is written by Mitali Deshmukh, of the travel blog Mitali’s travel diary. Go check out her blog and let me know I send you ๐Ÿ™‚ย  This awesome woman changed her career path in 2007: she started working in the tourism industry. I bet this was one of the best choices she ever made! She now travels the world on her own as well as with other people sometimes and has already been to 4 continents! Wow! Of course she tells us all about her experiences on her blog, like ‘how to make the most of your time in Bagan’. Or ‘what to do in Tokyo’. Apart from being a travel blogger, she is also an international tour leader and Japanese translater!ย

I’m sure you’re all really curious to read about her bucket list though, instead of me taling. So here you go, Mitali’s bucket list: what’s still on it and what she allready ticked off!

Hello There! I am Mitali Deshmukh

Mitali’s Banging Bucket list!

Hello there, I am Mitali Deshmukh, an International Tour Leader turned Travel Blogger. I have been traveling around the world since 2011 and completed visiting 32 countries till today. My passion for documenting my travels gave birth to my blog Mitaliโ€™s Travel Diary.

Before starting with my travels, my primary bucket list was just traveling around the world. And when I started traveling and started exploring the world, it went on developing and I started bringing new items to my bucket list. Some I completed, some are still left and I am just pleased that I was at least able to tick off a few items from my bucket list.

Bucket list items that I already ticked off

One of the biggest activities that I am yet to tick off is the skydiving, although I had the chance do it once in New Zealand, the weather just turned wild and unfortunately, I could not do it. But at least on the same day in the morning I ticked off another thing on my bucket list, and that was bungy jumping at Kawarau River in Queenstown. This was one of the greatest experiences I had till that day!!! It seemed very easy at first but the moment I stood at the edge and looked down, a chill went down my spine. But the view was breath-taking and I will cherish this experience forever in my life.

Another completed bucket list item, is going on a hot air balloon flight in Cairns. Getting into that giant basket with a huge balloon and a man pumping gas to get the balloon while flying is a wonderful sight to see. Flying over the fields and trying to spot kangaroos is surely a fun thing to do.

I think I am actually obsessed with flying, in fact there are times when I dream of looking at the world from a birdโ€™s eye. And I did yet another adventure from my bucket list at Pokhara, Nepal and that was Paragliding. The beautiful view of Phewa Lake and the Himalayas Mountains in the background left me speechless and probably want to do it again and again.

As much as the sky keeps calling me, I am also deeply addicted to the underwater life and so I went scuba diving at Havelock Island, at Andaman in India. I could not believe my eyes when looking at the completely different world under the water.

Bucket list items which I have yet to do

Exploring Antarctica tops the list at the moment, who does not wish to visit that continent once in their lifetime. This continent isn’t doesn’t get a lot of tourists at all, and I definitely want to be one of the few people that do go there! I’m also excited to do some pengiun watching here. Iceland is also one destination I am yet to visit. I actually dream of bathing in the blue lagoon with a natural face mask. Also, the Canadian northern lights, I cannot wait to adore that beauty of nature!

To many of you, this next one might sound very simple, but I spent my childhood watching movies like Home Alone, which has given me high end goals of being in New York or any other city in the USA or Europe during Christmas. The movies show Christmas in New York a lot and I can’t wait to see this city completely covered in snow with all of the people in it aranging the last things for Christmas, nothing else on their minds. In India, where I come from, we don’t celebrate Christmas very much. We celebrate other holidays/festivals in great ways!

The La Tomatina Festival of Spain is another bucket list item I have since I saw it in the movies. This festival is very similar to our Holi festival, which is better known as the Festival of Colours, in India. Looking at the pictures and video’s, La Tomatiana Festival seems like such a fun festival too! I definitely don’t want to miss out on that.

Hoping to complete my bucket list as early as I can and also take my readers with me to my experiences at https://www.mitalistraveldiary.com/

Go give Mitali some love on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
