Just like Bali, Malaysia is a pretty cheap country. Although not always as cheap as Bali, but hey, Kuala Lumpur is a lot more advanced than Bali is, so that makes sense. It’s also the only city I’m staying in this time in Malaysia (yes I’ve been here before, I also visited Malacca back then), […]Read More
Kuala Lumpur did not disappoint. It’s a huge city that offers lots of activities and sightseeing. Before I went to KL, I made a list of all of the things I wanted to see and do, to make it easier for myself to plan the days. I ended up with 26 things on the list. Going on a holiday to Malaysia is lots of fun and there is a lot of information about the country to be found on the internet. Or you could just go there and find out all about the country and the culture while you’re there if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous. I wasn’t one […]Read More
This is already my final day in Malaysia. Time has gome by so fast. I’m sad to leave this country, but I’m mostly happy I got to experience all of this.
To make the most of the final few hours I had left, I decided to go to the national museum, right next to my hotel. I only had time to see one of the exhibitions they had. It was about the history of Malaysia.
At half past two I got on the train to the airport in order to get back home again.Read More
This was my last full day in Malaysia unfortunately. I made the most of it though!
First I went to the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. It’s basically a fake jungle complete with waterfalls and there are lots of different kinds of birds that just walk and fly around freely. Half way throught the park I decided to have a break from the heat. I bought a fresh coconut and sat down at one of the tables in the shadow.
After the bird park I went to Chinatown. I had some lunch in a restaurant called ‘Old China’. Afterwards I went to see all of the different markets in this area. You can basically buy anything you want here, lot’s of fake designer stuff as well.Read More
To make the most of the last full day I had left in Malacca, I decided to go to a small museum that actually used to be someones house. It shows visitors what people used to live like about a 100 years ago and it was lovely.
After the museum I went to have breakfast at a restaurant I saw the day before. And after the delicious waffle I had there, I walked over to the observation tower. Provided a 360 degrees view over the city, which was lovely. It was up there that I realised how close all of the tourist attractions were together.
Then I had to take an Uber to get to the hotel to get my stuff. Another Uber took me to my next destination: Kuala Lumpur!Read More
